Finding freedom through therapy is possible. Heal, thrive, and live a more satisfying life
Bring forth meaningful change
We may live through events and circumstances that are profoundly challenging. Sometimes, we are aware of feeling impacted by these life experiences, and sometimes we are not. Regardless, they can elicit emotions or behaviors we don’t quite understand or know how to manage.
When faced with these challenges, individuals, both adults and teenagers, may experience difficulties coping. As a result, frustration, anxiety, stress, and unhelpful behavior patterns may start to impact every aspect of life - relationships with oneself and others, work, school, and more.
No one has to stay stuck –moving forward is possible.
Depth-oriented psychotherapy will help get to the root cause, open up to new perspectives and ways of coping, and, with time, heal, rediscover hope, and build a more resilient and satisfying life.
Specializing in getting to the root cause of what is holding you back in life.
We live our lives seeing things in front of us, experiencing them, and facing them as they happen. However, the back of our mind (our unconscious) is taking in more than what only our eyes are seeing.
That is where my work in depth-oriented psychotherapy comes in.
As your guide, I'll help navigate your concerns. We will strive to discover what thought and emotion processes may be unconscious or not yet in full awareness. I’ll help you understand your motives and make choices that you can feel good about. Over time, this can bring meaningful change, including a growing ability to access peace and joy while managing pain.

Therapy for Adults
Adults may seek therapy for a variety of reasons, including stress, anxiety, sadness, interpersonal and work difficulties, and as a means of personal growth. Therapy can help individuals enhance their self-esteem, confidence, and overall well-being, allowing them to live fuller, more satisfying lives. Going deeper, getting to the root cause of emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges in the context of a safe, trusting relationship can lead to meaningful change.
Therapy for Teens
Teenagers often face a range of emotional issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, social challenges, identity exploration, and behavioral disorders. In a safe and confidential environment, teens can more freely express their feelings, thoughts, and concerns. From this process, they learn to better understand and manage their emotions, build more effective communication, and develop confidence. Over time, they become equipped to navigate the challenges and transitions of adolescence more effectively.
Family or Caregiver support
In many cases, teen therapy may involve family counseling, in which caregivers, parents, or other family members participate in therapy sessions with the teen or meet with the therapist for coaching and support. This can be beneficial in addressing family issues, improving communication within the family, and helping parents better understand and support their teenager.
Therapy for Eating Disorders
Eating disorders have many different presentations and occur across culture, race, socioeconomic level, gender, sexuality, and body size. Eating disorders can cause serious medical complications as well as significant psychological distress. Therapy provides a safe environment for acquiring knowledge and skills that, over time, can help decrease or eliminate behaviors, urges, and thoughts related to eating disorders. This process involves root causes exploration, best practice integrations from the latest neurobiological research, and behavioral interventions to develop effective coping strategies. If needed, I am open to collaborating with care teams. I also am designated as a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) by the International Association of Eating Disorders.
